This section guides you on how to use Ticket Campaigns for WHMCS. Please read the Getting Started document before continuing if you did not read it.

Create a New Campaign #

You can use Ticket Campaigns to send a ticket message to a group of clients. You can choose to send the message to all of your clients or limit it to clients that meet specific criteria. To create a new ticket campaign:

  1. Click Create New Campaign.
  2. Enter a campaign name.
  3. Choose the type which sets the criteria to use to select the recipients.
    • By default, the type is General, which only lets you filter on the client status or country criteria. You can also choose:
      • Product/Service, to filter by product-related criteria.
      • Addon, to filter by addon-related criteria.
      • Domain, to filter by domain-related criteria.
    • If you do not want to filter clients by specific criteria, leave that filter unchanged, which will be ignored.
  4. Use Start Date/Time to schedule when the campaign will start.
  5. Check Marketing Ticket? to prevent sending this ticket campaign to anyone who has opted out of marketing emails.
  6. Check Send for Each to send a ticket for every matching. By default, a customer will receive only one ticket. However, ticking this box will mean a ticket is sent for each item that matches the given criteria, and therefore a single client may receive the ticket multiple times – once for each qualifying product they have.
  7. Check Disable email to prevent the ticket email from being sent
  8. Check Disable send as admin to send ticket as own client.
  9. Use Send as to select the desired admin user that opens the ticket.
  10. Update Client Criteria to filter by the correct Client Group, Country, Language, and Client Status. To do this, select one or more items from the lists. For example, if you choose the United States as the Country to only send the campaign to clients in the US.
  11. Enter ticket details like title and message body.
  12. Click Submit
